Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Her birthplace and childhood was in California, USA, she made her debut in modeling in Italy. In 1996, she made her debut acting as an actor in the TV movie titled 'Her Pricely Affair.' From there to starring in a minor role in the film "Starship Troopers", she fought hard. She struggled with the transition between modelling and acting because models aren't considered to be good actors, and they're usually given insignificant and small role. Amy did not give up eventually landing bigger parts, starting with the television series "The 70's" as well as the film "Varsity Blues". Then, she stepped into principal roles on the romantic comedy film 'Just friends', which also starred Ryan Reynolds. The film became a massive film at the box office and Amy discovered the recognition she'd been searching for for nearly 10 years.
