Farrah Fawcett was an American actor, artist and model best famous for her portrayal in the film 'The Apostle'. She was nominated seven times in the Golden Globe Award and four times for the Emmy Award. In Corpus Christi Texas she started her career as a commercial actor. Also, she was a guest on characters in TV series, like 'I Dream of Jeannie' and The Flying Nun. In the French movie 'Love is A Funny Thing she was a secondary role. The film became famous for her famous red swimsuit poster which eventually became the most popular pin-up-themed poster of all time. She appeared in many popular TV movies and shows throughout the years, which helped establish her as a sexual symbol. In the popular crime-drama series Charlie's Angels, she played the role of a detective. The show centered around three women living in Los Angeles who work in the detective agency. The actress was for her glamorous characters, but also the more dramatic such as the battered woman in the TV Movie 'The Burning Bed. In 1989, at age 59, she was found to be having anal cancer. She passed away three years later.
