Mary McCormack is an American actress known for her leading roles in the TV show 'Murder One', 'The West Wing', 'In Plain Sight', and 'Loaded'. Apart from her TV performances, she has been known for films like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". She was born to a psychologist as well as an ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family without any direct connections to the entertainment field. After the divorce of her parents, McCormack enrolled to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In 1990, after finishing her studies at Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA in English, she was awarded a degree. In her early twenties when she began her stage career, it started when she performed in "Amahl, as well as the Night Visitors", a holiday opera. After her performance on stage and in film, she got parts in small-screen as well as large-screen productions. McCormack, today recognized as being one of the most versatile Hollywood performers. She has three daughters with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
