Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has acted as a character in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an active participant in the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since March 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project, and is a major part of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. As part of her role with GI TOC she is focused on disappearances, assassinations in addition to violence of different types in the context of illicit economics. The research area she is interested in is the effect of organized crime on law, policy and legislation that pertain with human rights. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum honors degree from the field of International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her with an LL.M. cum laude for Public Law. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honors Bachelor's degree in Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has been a practicing attorney for over four years at a law firm that focuses on litigation involving public law. Experiences include working in the roles of non-governmental organizations located in Rio de Janeiro or Geneva.
