A very successful artist still at the peak of her youthful years, she's already sold over 140 million records and 41 million songs worldwide becoming one of the most successful artists of all time. Her birthplace was in Barbados and had a childhood filled in the reggae scene. As she started to sing, she turned into a professional singer. In the wake of being disturbed by chaotic nature of her home life, as well as her frequent battles with her father she became immersed in the world of music.
